The College of Business offers a minor in Finance available to all UofL students. Completion of program prerequisites with a 2.8 grade point average and a 2.8 cumulative grade point average is required before enrolling in the Finance minor program core courses.   Actuarial majors who declare for the finance minor can waive the prerequisite statistics course below, since their actuarial program requires two rigorous statistics courses.

For graduation (in addition to all other degree requirements) a 2.0 GPA is required in the Finance minor courses.

2.0 GPA in Finance minor program core coursework and a 2.0 cumulative UofL GPA are required for graduation.

Actuarial majors who declare for the Finance Minor may waive this statistics course requirement, since the actuarial students have two rigorous statistics courses in their major program.
