Admission to the program requires the completion of at least 60 hours of degree-applicable credits with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. 

The program consists of 6 required courses totaling 18 credit hours.  Completion of the minor requires a minimum grade of C-minus in all course work applied to the minor.

PHMS 505 and PHMS 509 are held on the Health Sciences Campus and are co-scheduled with the grad credit versions of the courses. Students that receive a grade of ‘B’ or higher in PHMS 505 and PHMS 509 may be granted approval to apply these credits towards coursework in the University of Louisville MSHA program, should they apply and be accepted into that program.

At least three (3) semester hours of the requirements for a minor must be successfully completed while enrolled in the University of Louisville.
