The Public Health minor has been designed for all students who are interested in gaining a broader understanding about the field of Public Health. Students from a wide variety of majors will find a Public Health minor attractive as it assists them in broadening their understanding of patterns of Public Health and its role in our society. Any major will gain an appreciation for the applications of Public Health. The minor can be an asset to students in determining their interest in graduate studies as well as long term career goals.
The minor in Public Health requires the completion of a minimum of 18 credit hours. Students are required to apply to the minor and maintain a minimum of a 2.0 GPA.
