Admission to the minor in Healthcare Leadership requires completion of 24 credit hours, a cumulative GPA of 2.25, and a minimum of one year’s of healthcare experience across a wide variety of organizational settings. Applicants who do not meet these minimum requirements may petition the department for consideration of admission.

At least three (3) semester hours of the requirements for a minor must be successfully completed while enrolled in the University of Louisville.
To complete the minor, students must demonstrate competency by passing each class with a C- or better.
LEAD courses are offered in an 8-week format. Two half-term sessions will be available in Fall and Spring and one session will be available in Summer. Students may start the program at the beginning of the Fall and Spring terms, at the beginning of the second half of the Fall or Spring terms, or in the summer semester.
