Sport Administration (BS)

Departmental Admission Requirements

Students must complete 45 credit hours or more and earn a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher to apply for the SPAD major, including completion of SPAD 281 and SPAD 284 with a grade of C or better (C-minus will NOT count).

A minimum of 120 credit hours with an overall GPA of 2.25 is required including a minimum of 50 credit hours at the 300 level. 

No grades of D will be accepted in any SPAD or HSS courses used to meet requirements for the major.

1SPAD majors are strongly encouraged to complete a minor.  Suggested minors include: Business Administration, Communication, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Equine Business, Exercise Science, Finance and Management.
