Business Analytics (MS)

Admission Requirements

  1. Completion of a graduate application along with application fee
  2. Provision of two letters of reference, a resume, and a personal statement
  3. Completion of an undergraduate degree along with official transcripts
  4. GMAT or GRE is optional

Program Requirements

The Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program requires a minimum of 30 credit hours for program completion. Currently, 22.5 credit hours are core and 7.5 credit hours are in electives.

Students may choose the internship track and enroll in up to three (3) additional credit hours in Analytics Internship courses spread across the program's three semesters. Students on internship track are required to successfully complete the Analytics Internship courses to graduate.

Students in the Artificial Intelligence concentration will take their directed electives in the summer including five of the following courses: MSBA 691MSBA 692MSBA 693MSBA 694MSBA 695MSBA 696MSBA 697, and MSBA 698. Some of the Artificial Intelligence courses may be offered only in an online format or only in a seated format. Not all courses may be offered every year. This concentration is open to part-time online MSBA students.  Students who wish to complete the part-time program in 20 months should take all five electives during the first summer; however, students can take electives in both summer 1 and summer 2.

Concentration in Artificial Intelligence

The Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program students can earn a concentration in Artificial Intelligence by selecting five courses from the list directed electives below. These directed electives will replace five required electives for the MSBA program. These directed electives are:
