Educational Administration (Rank 1)
Graduates of the University of Louisville EdS in Educational Administration, are eligible to pursue this Rank 1 program.
Candidates who have completed a specialist’s degree in Educational Administration from other institutions must provide documentation, before applying for admission, that they have completed the requirements leading to the provisional and standard certificates in Kentucky.
Students may apply to the program by first going to the Graduate School website. Admission requirements include the following credentials:
- Official transcripts with a GPA of 2.75 in the bachelor's degree and a GPA of 3.0 in the master's degree
- For international students, TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo (students holding a baccalaureate or advanced degree from an accredited institution in the U.S. are exempt from this requirement.)
Applicants who have attended a college or university outside of the United States are also required to submit an evaluation of their transcript through either WES (World Education Services) or ECE (Educational Credential Evaluators). Please note that transcript evaluations can sometimes take several weeks.

Mid-Point Requirement: Candidates are required to submit a mid-point performance assessment to their faculty advisor at the completion of 15 credit hours of coursework and designed collaboratively with the faculty advisor. The faculty advisor will assess the candidate's performance.
